Abanara is an absolute treasure located in a quiet little courtyard off Canon Drive where I received one of the most relaxing and enjoyable facial and massage treatments I have ever experienced. Hailing from from Bombay India,
Aban Patel is the epitomy of serenity. Step inside her serene spa facility, and I promise a transformation. Her calm, personable, and pleasant nature makes you forget the outside world. Educated in England, Aban has been doing facials, skin care, massage, and energy cleansing for nearly three decades.
From a spirited family still based in India, she certainly stays close to her roots offering a variety of products and services. This a one stop shop to take care of nearly every need a person could have. Many of the products
are made up specially by her. All natural, plant based cleansers, face and body lotions are among the many great products she offers.
Waxing, Oxygen Facials, Energy and Chakra clearing are a few of the treatments
offered at Abanara.
The atmosphere is completely private with one client at a time for as many services as one desires. I would liken the experience to the comfort of meeting and old friend. Aban has worked in the finest salons in Beverly Hills from Georgette Klinger
to Frederick Fekkai. Her experience and knowledge is vast.
Five years ago, she finally decided it was time to open her own spa. Success and a top client list has certainly followed, and it’s easy to see why. The facial I had included a “rubberized” vitamin mask that delivered nutrient to my face and neck while my hands and arms were massaged and relieved of their tension. A lifting micro-current treatment followed, mysteriously causing an immediate lift, and youthful glow. A head and temple massage concluded my experience, making me very clear where I would go for future skin care.
Easily this could be a wonderful way to take care of nearly every need a person could have, in a positive, warm, and zen like atmosphere.
