Beverly Hills homes are selling. . . not quickly however a demand exists for quality living and public education. A movement is afoot as parents reevaluate the expense of private school in today's economy and consider their options.
Beverly Hills' schools are not what they once were but I see them in the process of making a comeback. Families are returning and alumni (many world famous) have enrolled their children into the BHUSD. This is a great sign. It could signal the rebirth
of the Beverly Hills School System.
My children's school recently held a beautification program of which I gladly took part in. Over 250 parents and children planted over 600 plants. Seeing is believing. Making thing happen in Beverly Hills is what it's all about.
With the new school board election coming up, change is on the way. I urge you to keep your eye on Jake Manaster, a conservative who I believe has the vision to get things done. If Beverly Hills' schools get their act together, real estate prices will rise as supply and demand takes place.

New route expected to be among fastest in LA Marathon history
LOS ANGELES, CA – Beverly Hills People is excited to learn that the Los Angeles Marathon will be coming right through Beverly Hills.
The New Los Angeles Marathon map begins at Dodger Stadium before heading east into downtown Los Angeles, passing such sites as City Hall and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. It then heads west through Echo Park and Silver Lake into Hollywood, passing such iconic locations as the world‐famous intersection of Hollywood & Vine and Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
From Hollywood, the route enters West Hollywood and follows the Sunset Strip, with its internationally famous nightclubs, hotels and music venues, and hugs the base of the Hollywood Hills. It then drops down to Santa Monica Blvd., the heart of West Hollywood and a portion of the Historic Route 66.
At Doheny, the route enters Beverly Hills, passing Beverly Hills City Hall and the shops of Rodeo Drive. The route takes Wilshire west to Santa Monica Blvd., passing Century City into West Los Angeles, and making its way through the Veterans’ Administration property. From there, it’s a long stretch down the unofficial running capital of Los Angeles, San Vicente Blvd., all the way to Ocean Avenue and the finish line at Santa Monica Blvd., just steps from the Santa Monica Pier.

Mom is doing a production of The Color of Rose, a new play about Rose Kennedy. There are three Rose Kennedy’s all on stage together, each playing her at a different age. Mom plays the elder Rose.
