The Bar at L'Ermitage has redefined its complete cocktail menu! They now serve Vintage cocktails with recipes following the traditions of the legendary bars in New York and Paris in the 19th-early 20th centuries.
Beautiful mixes such as the Aviation, a gin based cocktail with the original recipe that became famous at the Hotel
Wallick in New York City over 100 years ago. The original recipe calls for a lesser known liqueur called crème de violette, which gives the cocktail its distinctive flavor and a pale blue sky hue. A closer to home classic, the Moscow Mule, a legendary vodka cocktail created in Los Angeles in 1941, served in a polished copper mug.
Modern Cocktails, created specifically for L'Ermitage, will rotate with the seasons. For instance Tropical Elder, a new signature cocktail, will showcase a refreshing combination of pineapple infused vodka with elderflower liqueur and grapefruit. Enjoy a whiskey or rye based cocktail? Try the Tumbleweed... a daring creation of 6 year old Rye with applejack, lemon, and a 10 year Tawny port.
Even the ice is unique! A custom ice machine was purchased specifically for these cocktails that will deliver the purest ice in Beverly Hills! All cocktails will emphasize the freshest ingredients and juices- nothing from concentrate, everything made to order! No gimmicks, or high priced show pieces, just handcrafted cocktails that are priced to encourage patrons to return to explore the ever evolving menu!
