Just when Melrose Avenue seemed to be filled with everything you need, hair industry maven Vered Valensi and her talented staff moved into the neighborhood to let you know what you're still missing. Just one month ago, Vered Salon opened up in this funky neighborhood to offer the locals the same A-list service she's been serving up to her celebrity clients.
Vered Valensi is no stranger to the spotlight, having acquired a reputation as the hair extension guru of the West. She is single-handedly responsible for sparking the renewed frenzy of long tresses with celebrity clients like Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie.
Vered Valensi’s career began while working at the Wella Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, before moving to New York City. While in Manhattan, Vered worked at the Jean Louie David Salon and then moved to Los Angeles. Juan Juan Salon of Beverly Hills was Vered’s first stop before freelancing for Playboy Studios West on various photo shoot and television projects. Vered opened her first salon in 2000 – just a few miles away from her newest home at 8252 Melrose Ave.
Vered's Melrose salon features 1,500 square feet of contemporary space which is highlighted by vibrant pink walls that impact the visitor at the front door. Vered's styling team offers a suite of services including hair extensions, hair coloring treatments, styling, manicures, pedicures and facials.
Vered Salon also boasts an extensive retail product selection filled with secret favorites not too commonly found around Los Angeles. Her newest addition to the retail line includes GHD Professional’s Iron – a flat iron at first glance, but run it through your hair and you will get the ultimate natural curly locks achieved by your favorite stars on the red carpet.
Visitors can also opt for Vered's specialty, the top-line hair extension systems such as Great Lengths and Hair Dreams. Hair extension clients will experience the ultimate in natural looking, genuine hair just like the celebs wear.
