When the writes decides to go on strike their actions affected millions of people and hundreds of company’s that service the entertainment industry.

Most of us don’t think or even know what goes on to make a TV show or movie. The gaffers and grips, the wardrobe and makeup the transportation and catering companies are just some of the people that have been put out of work or even lost their jobs.

We really need to look at the colatertial damage that is being caused by this writers strike and the families that are being affected and possible homes being destroyed. Honnestly do people care about those that are out of work or more about the golden globes being canceled? Beverly Hills People just hope these writers can come to some terms and put down their signs and get back to work.

When one union’s actions start to have such effects on others its time to really reflect how we got here. However what is fear is fear as the Writers Guild of Amercia will not budge until the media revenue stream is adjusted and writers are given royalities for their hard work.
